Neways Establishes Environmental Council

Highlighting its commitment to environmental protection through innovative corporate level initiatives, Neways announced the creation of the environmental council. Staffed by employees from many different departments and disciplines, this council is now working to help Neways reduce its carbon footprint.

“Our mission is to help identify and implement best practices to help our company operate in more environmentally sustainable ways,” says Will Burgess, chairperson of the environmental council. “Our ultimate aim is to instill in our employees a sense of urgency by helping them look for ways to become more environmentally conscious.”

Built upon Neways’ Healthy Homes initiative, the council is also helping establish benchmarks to measure the success of the company’s environmental programs after their
implementation.

“Other than simply encouraging less waste and increasing recycling, we want to provide employees with tools and simple steps they can take to help us meet our environmental goals,” says Vincent Gonzales, a member of the council. “We want environmental awareness to become second nature to everything we do at Neways.”

Some of the measures employees are being asked to consider include the following:

  • Discontinue the use of paper agendas for meetings. Use overhead projectors instead.
  • Recycle paper, metal, and plastic. Blue recycling bins are provided throughout the workplace and small bins are available for use at employee desks.
  • Turn off lights when not in the room or when leaving work at the end of the day.
  • Completely shut down computers each night before leaving.

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step,” says Burgess. “It’s these small steps that will take Neways far in its quest to make our homes and our planet a healthier and happier place.”

Mardy Eger MLM Top Earner $3 million a year Great Words Of Wisdom!

Mardy is not in Neways but his message is:

People fail because of a combination of things. #1 The lack of systems in place, remember people fail when systems don't #2 Lack of focus, most people join opportunities looking for that one magic bullet, sign up and expect miracles to happen. I call these folks P.J's ..Professional joiners…. I was once guilty myself many years ago.

It is important to become a student of the industry, learn the trade, learn about the company that you are in, plug into the system that is working and producing, Find the person/s that is successful in your company and cling to and learn from that person.

PJ's join and the quit and go to the next New thing… remember when you quit and start over ..again and again you will never get anywhere but First base.

As far as failure is concerned, a person hasn't failed until they have given up. Never give up. In my book 'No Excuse For Failure" I go into get details on this subject and even share my own personal experiences through the years and what it took for me to overcome constant failures in my own life and career.

When it is all said and done, what other industry will you find a one time investment to start your business ranging form $200- maybe even $2k and have the same opportunity to earn massive six figures yearly and as some have done (And this list is increasing daily) Seven figures. No where but the direct sales and MLM industry.

Look at business owners that have spent hundreds of thousands and in most cases even millions, and still their bottom line never equals to those that take seriously the opportunity of MLM and the powerful direct sales industry. So failure isn't paying the start up costs when you join a program, failure isn't when you haven't yet broken even… but failure is ..when you join and never work your business, never follow the system that may be working great for so many others, never show up to learn, and when you quit.

It's Official - Neways Launches Products and Opportunity in Korea

Neways is now open for business in Korea. During well-attended events held in Seoul December 12 to 14, the company officially launched its new Korean office, showroom, products, and business opportunity.

We’re off to a great start in Korea,” said Neways CEO Scott St. Clair, who attended the launch events. “People are already responding with enthusiasm to our products and business opportunity, and we’re already welcoming many new members. As soon as we opened the doors, our new showroom was packed with people wanting to learn more about Neways and sign up.”

Distributor leaders from Australia, Japan, and Taiwan are taking an active role in launching the Korean market, including sponsoring and training new Korean distributors. “With our global sponsoring program, this opening is really an international event,” said sales and marketing VP Jennifer Wolbers, who participated in the Korean opening events. “Neways distributors can expand their businesses to other nations, and that’s exactly what many of our distributors from all over the world are already doing here in Korea.”

The Korea launch began with two press conferences on December 12, one of them held at the newly opened Neways office, located in Seoul’s affluent Gangnam district. The next day, Neways hosted two kickoff events, attended by 500 and 600 people respectively. That evening, Neways held its annual Japan Crystal Diamond convention in Seoul to recognize top distributors from Japan, many of whom are helping open the Korean market. On December 14, a ribbon-cutting ceremony included the traditional Korean Gosa ceremony, which is performed for new businesses to symbolically promote safety and goodwill.

“We have very high hopes for our business in Korea,” said Scott St. Clair. “The people relate with our mission to minimize exposure to scientifically controversial ingredients while maximizing health and beauty. This market will definitely play a key role in Neways’ quest to fill the world with 10 million Healthy Homes.”

Korea’s initial lineup of Neways products includes Maximol Solutions, Hawaiian Noni, Durian Fusion, Ultimate Shampoo, Exuberance Conditioner, Refresh Body Bar, Refresh Bath and Shower Gel, and Indulge Bubble Bath, with more products to come in the future.

Neways is also moving forward with preparations to open in Thailand in 2012. For more information on international Neways businesses, including a list of frequently asked questions about Korea and Thailand, please visit http://neways.com/en/opportunity/globalsponsoring.aspx.

Neways Launches New Philanthropic Program: Neways Gives

(January 2012) — Formalizing its already-existing program for donations and humanitarian efforts, Neways today announced the formation of the Neways Gives program. The effort commences with a partnership between Neways and the organization Mali Rising Foundation to construct a school in an impoverished area of Mali, West Africa.

“Part of the Healthy Homes mission is to assist in establishing healthy communities, and education is a critical foundation of any strong and self-sustaining community,” says Scott St. Clair, Neways CEO. “Neways feels fortunate to be involved in constructing a school that will ultimately lead children in Africa to a brighter future.”

Mali Rising Foundation has constructed 12 schools in Mali, Africa, the fourth most impoverished nation in the world. The founder, Yeah Samake, is a graduate of Brigham Young University and has close ties to Utah. He currently resides in Mali and is running for the office of president of that nation while participating closely in the running of the foundation.

“I could stay in America,” says Samake, “but America does not need me. Mali needs me. If you could see the joy in the children’s eyes when they realize they will have the opportunity to continue their education without facing the dangers of walking up to 20 miles round trip, you would feel the enormity of what you’ve done for them. We are so thankful to Neways and all the Neways distributors who are making this possible for these children.”

Mali Rising Foundation obtains part of the funding for the schools from private donations and part from the villages and government. The construction of the schools provides jobs to villagers, who help build, maintain, and teach at the schools. “In this way,” explains Samake, “we encourage hands up, not handouts.”

As part of the Neways Gives program, Neways also participated in donations for the Road Home homeless shelter and has announced its participation with the March of Dimes in 2012.

SPRINGVILLE, Utah, Jan. 19, 2012 / Neways Enterprises, a worldwide leader in dietary supplements and personal care products, announced today that it has completed a comprehensive out-of-court restructuring, allowing the company to significantly reduce its debt. I look forward to working with Z Capital, S.A.C. and other members of the ownership group towards achieving that goal.

“We have just concluded a fantastic year highlighted by our entrance into the Korean market,” St. Clair continued. “As we begin 2012, we remain on track to launch in Thailand and will pursue other exciting growth initiatives as opportunities arise. Further, our new capital structure will allow us to devote additional resources to developing exclusive products and IT tools, continuing to make progress on our path to environmental and social leadership, as well as preparing for our biggest-ever global reward trip to celebrate Neways’ 25 years of success in 2012. Neways truly has a bright future and we look forward to continuing to serve all our distributors across the world for many years to come.”

Neways Distributor Participates in ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

As part of ABC’s TV show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Neways distributor Tabitha Plake and her husband, John, recently helped build new houses for people who lost homes in the Joplin, Missouri, tornados, which occurred in May 2011. Neways supported the effort by donating personal-care products to tornado victims.

“If you ever get a chance to be part of something like that, don’t hesitate,” said Tabitha Plake, who lives in Nixa, Missouri. “They needed 10,000 volunteers and actually took 14,000. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to be there and to donate products on Neways’ behalf. It was an honor to be a spokesperson for our company.”

Immediately after the tornado disaster, Neways had sent $12,000 worth of products to Joplin through Feed the Children. “Even though Neways already donated, we were happy to give more when Tabitha approached us,” said Jennifer Wolbers, vice president of sales and marketing at Neways. “We understand that it takes lots of time and energy long after the media leaves to rebuild, and we are glad that we could continue our donations. We were especially delighted that the idea came from one of our distributors. People like Tabitha are excellent examples of leading the way to improve our communities.”

According to Plake, “While we were helping build homes, we realized that they would need personal necessities to fill these new homes with. Neways came through again in an amazing way. They shipped Convert Your Bathroom Packs for us to give to these families. We wrote a letter and shared a few of our reasons for loving Neways, and we congratulated them on their new home.”

During their volunteer time, Tabitha and John delivered interior fixtures to homes, finished drywall, and performed additional construction tasks. “On Wednesday after all our hard work, the show welcomed the families to their new homes,” said Plake. “They were all made a little healthier through the generosity of Neways. Welcome home, Joplin families!”

This episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will be broadcast in January 2012.
