Taiwan Welcomes Neways

Taiwan Direct Selling Association Approves Neways
The Taiwan Direct Selling Association (DSA) just added a new member to its ranks: Neways Taiwan, which opened for business only a few months ago.
Springville, UT (PRWEB) November 22, 2008 -- The Taiwan Direct Selling Association (DSA) just added a new member to its ranks: Neways Taiwan, which opened for business only a few months ago.
An internationally respected trade association with offices in numerous markets, the DSA rigorously screens companies who apply for membership.
After a company's application is approved, an independent administrator monitors DSA members to ensure that they adhere to a robust code of ethical business practices while maintaining a high level of service to consumers.

For Neways International, this is a significant development. The company's acceptance by the DSA of Taiwan means that Neways is fulfilling its goal to instill the highest levels of confidence and satisfaction in its consumers and independent distributors.

"The DSA creates the standard to which all great MLM companies adhere," says Jennifer Wolbers, Neways' vice president of sales and marketing. "Neways Taiwan's acceptance in the Taiwan DSA demonstrates our deep and ongoing commitment to excellence in every market around the world."

"Taiwan has more than 250 MLM companies, and only 40 of them are DSA members," says Julia Ku, country manager of Neways Taiwan. "Being a member of the Taiwan DSA means a lot for our distributors and for people who want to know more about Neways. It lets everyone know that Neways has integrity and that we are a reliable company that you can trust."
Neways chief legal counsel Chris Crump echoes that sentiment: "Membership in the DSA is a stamp of approval, inspiring trust and confidence in a direct sales company."
About Neways:
Founded in 1992, Neways is dedicated to helping families transform their homes into Healthy Homes. With dozens of safe, effective nutritional and personal care products that are free of questionable ingredients, the company strives to make the world a healthier place, one home at a time.

Cancer Update from John Hopkins

This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well.
No plastic containers in microwave.
A dioxin chemical causes cancer, especially breast cancer.

Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic
Bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic

Recently, Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital ,
Was on a TV program to explain this health hazard.
He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us.

He said that we should not be heating our food in the
Microwave using plastic containers...
This especially applies to foods that contain fat.

He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin
Into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body...

Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic
Containers for heating food... You get the same results, only without the dioxin.
So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc.,
Should be removed from the container and heated in something else.
Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper.

It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc.
He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away
From the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons...
Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Gladwrap, is just as dangerous when
Placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high
Heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food.

Cover food with a paper towel instead. Bottled water in your car very dangerous.
His is how Sheryl Crow got breast cancer. She was on the Ellen show and said this same exact thing. This has been identified as the most common cause of the high levels in breast cancer, especially in Australia.

A friend whose mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and the Doctor told her: women should not drink bottled water that has been left in a car.

The doctor said that the heat and the plastic of the bottle have certain chemicals that can lead to breast cancer. So please be careful and do not drink bottled water that has been left in a car, and, pass this on to all the women in your life.
This information is the kind we need to know and be aware and just might save us! The heat causes toxins from the plastic to leak into the water and they have found these toxins in breast tissue. Use a stainless steel Canteen or a glass bottle when you can!
LET EVERYONE WHO HAS A WIFE / GIRLFRIEND / DAUGHTER/NIECE KNOW PLEASE.

Neways Back In the Wall Street Journal

Environmentally Responsible Manufacturing at Neways

SPRINGVILLE, Utah, (BUSINESS WIRE) -- "As the safety-conscious company, Neways is committed to employing environmentally safe and healthy manufacturing practices," says Neways COO Brian Slobodow.

"In any industry, maximizing a company's environmentally responsible manufacturing is not an overnight process, but Neways is continually implementing new improvements to reduce our impact on the environment."
Following are several examples of ways in which Neways has introduced eco-friendly elements into our manufacturing facilities and processes:

-- Recycling: In addition to using recyclable packaging whenever possible for our products, Neways also recycles shipping and packaging materials discarded during the manufacturing process, including plastic barrels, corrugated cardboard and metal drums.
-- Biodegradable product formulas: To avoid damaging the ecosystem, Neways uses biodegradable ingredients in products whenever possible, including in laundry detergents.

-- Low water usage: To reduce water waste, Neways installed a cooling water recovery system in its manufacturing plant, which allows for closed-circuit water recycling.

-- Electricity conservation: To use less power, Neways installed high-efficiency, low-wattage lighting in the company's new global distribution center, with timers and motion detectors to reduce waste. In addition, the company is using fluorescent lights that contain less mercury.

"While just about every company today is claiming that it's green," says Brian Slobodow, "you can rest assured that Neways really is making continuous progress in reducing our environmental impact. This is a top priority for our independent distributors, and it's a top priority for the corporation as well."
Have a great week.. CJ Henderson
