Baby Carrots and chlorine The following is informationfrom a farmer who grows and packages carrots for IGA, METRO, LOBLAWS,etc. The small cocktail (baby) carrots you buy in small plastic bagsare made using the larger crooked or deformed carrots which are putthrough a machine which cuts and shapes them into cocktail carrots.

Most people probably know this already.What you may not know and should know is the following: once the carrots arecut and shaped into cocktail carrots they are dipped in a solution ofwater and chlorine in order to preserve them (this is the samechlorine used in your pool) since they do not have their skin ornatural protective covering, they give them a higher dose ofchlorine.

You will notice that once you keep these carrots in yourrefrigerator for a few days, a white covering will form on thecarrots, this is the chlorine which resurfaces. At what cost do weput our health at risk to have esthetically pleasing vegetables whichare practically plastic?We do hope that this information can be passed on to as many peopleas possible in the hopes of informing them where these carrots comefrom and how they are processed. Chlorine is a very well knowncarcinogen.If you care, pass it on.

The Philippines has forbidden the Importing and use in their Country of Aspartame including all makes of Saccharin, example Equal, Nutra-Sweet, Spoonful, & Diet Drink's, including 6,000 consumer Good's andBeverages, sold on the Supermarket shelves, this ban affect's all use of thisproduct in any type of consumable infringement and will carry penalties that go from 9.000 euros to 90,000 Euros.

Mexico is also considering banning all 6,000 products of Aspartame on its Supermarket shelves. In Mexico Aspartame is known as Rumsfeld's Disease, after George Bush's mate Donald Rumsfeld.
The Nutra-Sweet company and Searle is owned by Monsanto who appointed Rumsfeld as their General Manager, so they could use his clout with Parliament to get this Deadly Poison passed by the FDA, and boost their sales of Aspartame.Avoid all Toothpaste's made in China, especially Colgate's they contain Ethylene Glycol. This is an Anti-Freezing agent, Highly Toxic and even Fatal, it destroys the Liver, Kidney's, Lung's, Blood Cells, Heart and the Nervous System, also sold in some Mouth Washes, Make-up, Aftershave, Baby Powder and Wipes, Shampoo, and Deodorant's.

There are lots of natural shampoos, skin products, deoderants etc on the market now, you don`t have to buy these chemical based ones.

Avoid Smarties; they contain almost every Toxic artificial colour on the market.

The worst are 102, 104, and the worst of all 110 Carcinogenic, 124 undesirable, 127 Carcinogenic 128 Extreme Caution, 129,131, and 133 are also
carcinogenic.

To top it off Smarties are not even made of Chocolate (neither are Tim Tam's)Synthetic Chocolate has no nutritional food value whatsoever.Read your label's it may one day save your life.

Neways Introduces Online TV Station - NEWAYS TV

Cool Recipe using Mass Advantage Protien

MASS ADVANTAGE PROTEIN HEALTH SLICE
4 scoops Mass Advantage. OR 100 Grams pro thin choc /vanilla ( may need3 or 4 min extra cooking)
3/4 cup spelt flour
¼ cup rice flour
45 Grams honey.
45grams butter melted. If you use less butter use more oil in a comparable ratio.
3/4 cup 1st press virgin olive oil
2 eggs ( beaten)
1 cup rolled oats soaked in 2/3 cup warm water.(Uncle Toby’s, not minute oats) is best
1/3 cup desiccated coconut

1/3 cup sunflower kernels.
1 cup pecans or sliced almonds. Try a short burst in the blender using whole almonds.
¾ cup sultanas or currants. Sultanas are my preference
6 sliced dried figs.
6 sliced dates (pipped)
6 (more to taste) chunks finely sliced crystalline ginger (optional) rinse the sugar off if you need to.

1oo grams dark cooking chocolate. 50 percent cocoa or better. (Optional). Beat it up to a powder in the blender. Short bursts only or it will melt.
Beat eggs and mix with the wet ingredients. Oil, butter, honey, and oats/water. Mixes better warm.

Mix all ingredients together and press /spread firmly into a 25 x 30 cm slice tray. (Or 2 smaller trays)
Bake in a moderate oven (180 degrees c fan forced pre heated) for 12 minutes. Don’t over do it.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle a little dark chocolate (50% or more cocoa, cheap stuff may be only 10 or 20%, the rest of it, who knows?) over the top while still very hot. (Chocolate is optional).

Replace into oven to melt chocolate into the top layer for 3 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool, then cut into small slices. They are very filling.
Store in an airtight container in refrigerator (if they last that long)

These are a great snack, even an odd meal replacement. And the kids will love them.

I feel that the North America region is exploding for Neways. Those of you on our teams outside of the US should be looking at becoming an International Sponsor and create teams in this exploding market place. The 2008 convention was as exciting as the starting pistol at the beginning of a big race. We hope to see you at the finish line.
